Inês Pinheiro

Born in Lisbon in 1960. 

Partner at SLCM since 2014, responsible for Employment practice area team. Joined SLCM as a lawyer specialized in Employment Law in 2004. Previously, Head of Legal and Human Resources Department in a Multinational Company for 13 years.

Proven track record in legal advice to human resources management, supporting customers in restructuring and collective redundancies, human resources due diligences, collective bargaining negotiations and employment disputes. Collaboration with several major national and multinational companies, from wide range of business areas, particularly industry, trade and services, such as fast moving consumer goods, banking, media, building and real estate. Has been involved in a number of restructuring processes in large groups, leading the negotiation process with employees, works councils and trade unions in collective dismissal procedures as well as employment law litigation. Also responsible for providing legal services and daily support to human resources management in several companies, in a preventative and problem-solving capacity.

Graduate in Law (1984), post-graduate studies in European Law (1985), Company Law (2005) and Labour (2009), Lisbon Catholic University.

Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 1986.

Member of Arbitrators lists at Centro de Arbitragem Comercial of Lisbon and Instituto de Arbitragem Comercial of Oporto. APODIT member – Portuguese Association of Labour Law.
