António Serra Lopes

Born in Lisbon in 1934. 

Law degree from the Lisbon Classic University (1958). Comparative Law Course of Strasbourg International College of Law (1967). He has acted as an adviser to the Portuguese government (foreign investment in Portugal) and as a lawyer and Head of the Legal Department of the CUF Group.

Lived in Brazil, working as a lawyer with the law firm "Advogados Gouvea Vieira, José Nabuco & Associados", in Rio de Janeiro (1975-1980).

Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association since 1962 and the Brazilian Bar Association since 1975.

Member of the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA), the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Arbitration Centre of the Lisbon Commercial Association (National Section of the International Chamber of Commerce).
