Marisa Mirador

Born in Setúbal in 1980. 

Joined SLCM in 2017. Previously has practised law in other reputable Lisbon law firms, including in one of the world’s largest global law firms. In 2010 has been allocated to POVT-QREN to assess the conformity of public procurement procedures.

Professional activity focused on the areas of Urban Planning and Construction, Public Procurement, Administrative Litigation and Environmental Law, assisting public entities and private companies.

Significant track record including advising and legal assistance to the largest Portuguese economic group of the electricity sector on urban planning, municipal licensing procedures, architecture, engineering and works contracts, hydroelectric exploitation and water resources; advising banks and real estate investors on land use regime, urbanistic and environmental conditionings and administrative licensing procedures (residential, tourism, retail, industry); draft of legal opinions on urban planning and of municipal regulations to several municipalities; advising leading companies of waste management within public procurement tenders scope and related administrative litigation; advising an international provider of handling services within international public tenders for Portuguese airports; preparation of international public tender documents and specifications for a marine concession; participation on legal DD exercise within the scope of litigation related to a resolution measure of the Bank of Portugal; assisting companies of the renewable energy sector on environmental impact assessment and licensing; advising a leading manufacturer of electric cars on legal framework for electric mobility; advising a worldwide player in the aerospace MRO and manufacturing business on environmental liability; assisting international companies of the construction industry sector on compliance and placing of products on the Portuguese market.

Arbitrator at CAAD - Administrative Arbitration Centre. Member of AD URBEM - Association for the Development of Planning and Building Law. Member of ICC - Portugal Specialized Commission for Energy and Environment. Member of the support office to the President of the Portuguese Bar Association for Administrative Law matters. Member of the Working Group on Licensing of the Portuguese Renewable Energy Association (APREN).
