Joana Fortunato

Born in Caldas da Rainha in 1986.

Joined SLCM in 2017. Has been sponsoring a wide range of litigation with a particular focus on civil and commercial litigation for clients in a wide range of sectors including financial institutions and banking, large national and multinational corporations, public companies in civil and commercial litigation, and individuals.Her previous experience was centered in counselling and representation in court of both individuals and companies of several business areas, in a variety of legal issues, particularly in subjects related to Civil Law, civil and commercial litigation, and bankruptcy and reorganisation procedures, as associate lawyer in “BMA – Baptista, Monteverde & Associados, SP, RL” (2013-2017).

Graduate in Law, University of Lisbon (2009). Post-graduate course in Business Law, University of Lisbon in collaboration with Deloitte, in 2013.

Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2013.
