Catarina Pinto Xavier

Born in Montemor-o-Novo in 1985. 

Joined SLCM in 2014, where has been developing her activity in Public Law, Competition & Regulatory. In Public Law has been assisting both public and private entities specially focusing in public procurement and execution of public contracts, administrative procedure matters, litigation and arbitration involving public entities. In Competition & Regulatory has been involved in important antitrust cases, either before Competition Authority or regulatory entities, as well as representing the defendants before court. Combining experience in Public Law and Competition and Regulatory has been acting in energy and environmental sectors, particularly in water and waste treatment sectors.

Before SLCM worked at the firm "Sérvulo & Associados", as trainee-lawyer and associate lawyer, on Public Law, Competition Law and Litigation & Arbitration (2008-2014).

Law degree, University of Lisbon (2008). Certified by the European Academy of Public Law of the EPLO - European Public Law Organization (2011). Post-graduate course in Administrative Litigation and Post-graduate course in Water Law, University of Lisbon (2012).

Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2011.

Member of the roster of arbitrators of CAAD - Administrative Arbitration Centre in administrative matters since 2018.
