Ângela Afonso

Born in Miranda do Douro in 1990.

Started career at SLCM in 2014. Significant experience in advising on the management of human resources, support for hiring and termination of employment contracts, administrative offenses, civil, labour and criminal litigation, in a work context. Ongoing customers advisory in terms of data protection, having supported, among others, the preparation of notifications and applications for authorization to the CNPD, in the framework of various treatment operations particularly in personal data transfer, drafting of contracts and regulations, and supporting the adequacy of customer procedures to the new requirements introduced by the new GDPR.

Graduate in Law, University of Oporto (2012). Continuous Training Course in Administrative Procedural Practices (2012) and in Labour Procedures (2014), University of Oporto. Accounting for Jurists Course, Lisbon University (2014). Post-graduation in Labour Law and Social Security, Lisbon University (2017). Brief Post-graduation studies in Medical Secret, Personal Data and Clinical Process from Centro de Direito Biomédico of Coimbra University (2019). Continuing education in Labour Law and Protection of Personal Data.

Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2015.
