The preservation of the environment is today a transversal element to all economic activities. Whether as a condition for the development of a business, or as a quality criterion that adds value to an asset, the Environment is an essential asset that is the source of a comprehensive and technically demanding regulation, fostered mainly by European Union law.

SLCM team integrates lawyers with extensive experience in environmental matters, prepared to support their clients in the implementation of their projects from scratch, be the installation of an industry or the planning of a real estate project. SLCM is a member of the Portuguese Association for Impact Assessment. APAI is an association of public utility, non-profit, of a professional, technical and scientific nature that seeks to become a platform for debate in terms of impact assessment, providing space for dialogue and exchange of experiences between professionals in the field.

SLCM advised the constitution and is a member of the Business as Nature Association. BasN is a non-profit association with a mission: to contribute to the promotion of sustainable production and consumption and the circular, low-carbon economy, with special attention to the involvement of women as influencers and direct agents in this process of change and economic and social development.
