Maria de Jesus Serra Lopes received, yesterday, during the Lawyer's Day Solemn Ceremony, that took place in Setúbal, the Gold Medal by the Portuguese Bar Association.

This Medal was attributed for, along her life of Lawyer and Citizen, the founding partner of SLCM and former presidente of the Portuguese Bar Association, has relevantly contributed, by hers action and merit, for the defense of citizens' rights, freedoms and guarantees. acording to the Bar Association, Maria de Jesus Serra Lopes identifies herdelf with the ideals of justice, of defense of the access to the law and of construction of the rule of law.
